Gesa graduated as nutritionist. She has extensive professional experience in sustainability and nutrition education. She co-founded the Transition Initiative Bonn-im-Wandel and the first CSA of Bonn. Since 2013, she belongs to the German team of Transition Trainers. Currently, she is PhD student at University of Bonn working with the Salutogenesis – a concept of psychological resilience. She is also involved in research on grassroots innovation in the food sector.
