About Kerry Lane
Whilst studying environmental science at UEA I was initiated into Transition as part of the formation and development of Transition Norwich. I was one of the people that couldn't stop themselves from getting involved in everything that was happening, because it was all so exciting. I learnt so much and made so many amazing friends.Together with my other friends in Transition I also made in roads into carving out a sustainable lifestyle for myself.
Then I graduated, and there weren't any Transition-esque jobs in Norwich, so I found myself uprooting myself last spring and travelling up to Glasgow where I am working delivering environmental projects as part of Transition University of West Scotland. A challenge in many ways, but I am slowly integrating myself into the Transition element in Glasgow (I still can't stop myself from getting involved!) and the Climate Challenge Funding creates interesting opportunities and issues. I look forward to seeing how it all develops.
