Sara Ayech

I coordinate Transition Dartmouth Park which started in September 2011. I was previously a member of Transition Belsize where I ran a Local Food Production project, and was part of the coordinating group.

My background is as an activist in anti-war, migrant rights and environmental groups. I was also involved in setting up social centres - occupied empty buildings which are transformed into community, political and cultural spaces.

I now work as a campaigner, currently at Greenpeace, on climate change and oil. I am also a trustee of my local community centre and am a member of my son's school PTA.

I have lived in Dartmouth Park since December 2009, and in the borough of Camden since 1997.
