Advertisement for Transition Stroud Development Worker
Transition Stroud in partnership with Stroudco are seeking to appoint a Development Worker. The post is initially for a period of six months, and for two days a month on a self employed contract basis. Payment will be £80 per day. It is expected that the hours and period of the post will increase as bids for additional funding are hopefully successfully made. The person appointed is likely to start in April/May 2011.
The person appointed will be delivering targets for both Transition Stroud and Stroudco. The focus is on marketing both organisations and networking with partner organisations. Outcomes include increasing the membership of Stroudco, implementing a marketing strategy and building on the Stroudco/Transition Stroud partnership model with other like minded organisations. In addition both organisations want to promote their activities within Stroud District and motivate people to get involved.
