It’s just over 2 weeks until the Transition Network International Conference. We think it’s going to be a fantastic, life-changing, reaffirming, inspirational few days. But don’t just take it from us. If you are still deciding whether to come or not, we thought you might like to see a selection of the feedback from our two previous conferences:
“I had a great time at the Conference. Well worth attending. And watching the National Hub conversation evolve was a joy!”
“Really special conference. Not too airy fairy. It strengthened my skills and resolve. Good to see the concept and movement maturing”.
“I was inspired by the number of younger people that were there this year, as well as all of us. We’re doing what we can – one person at a time. As for the organisation of the conference – I always find it a joy to attend thanks to the amazing job you’re doing in putting it together”.
“I loved the conference! Thanks for doing a great job”.
“The social time and space to talk to people was great and the added extras – Spanish Revolution for example – were a real bonus. Thanks for a wonderful weekend!”
“It was the sum of parts that was amazing – the affirmation of what is possible, the re-energising of being with so many more or less different people with the same long term goal. It did feel a bit like joining a beano for white middle class southerners (like me) to the north, but I guess that just reflects the background. The tree walk was a high point too, and the band on Saturday, and their traditional folklorical extemporisations”.
“Once again, you guys ran an astonishingly effective and brilliant conference. It’s so impressive. I wish I could bring even a fraction of the level of organisation back into my day job! Congratulations. I can’t wait until next year”.
“The conference itself was as always terrific. Well done to the organising team”.
“It’s taken me 2 days to land! what an exciting weekend”.
“It was my first conference and I’ve come away full of enthusiasm and all fired up ready to help our group move on to greater heights! It has also made me keen to sign up to transition training and further workshops. Thank you to everyone involved”.
“I particularly valued meeting old friends and people I’d only met online before as well as making new contacts, i.e. the social aspect of the weekend. I thought the organisation and facilitation were excellent, and really appreciated the careful thought and hard work put in by everyone involved”.
“Well done to everyone. It was a complete delight to participate again after the last one I attended was 4 years ago, and it was darn well facilitated and held. super When and where is the next one!!!!”
“Thanks, thanks, thanks! In our little village, we get a bit despondent sometimes and the week-end will feed us for months to come!”
“Thanks to all the team for holding us through the weekend. Facilitation and timekeeping and support for everyone was really outstanding! And a big hand to BAC cooks for such delicious food”.
“Thank you for doing this wonderful job. the sense of organization done extremely well to make use of such short time was amazing, plus I could feel there was so much heart in it”.
