Stories of Real People Making Real Change

People of Transition is a space on Instagram for sharing stories from people and communities worldwide that are actively working towards a brighter, more regenerative future. Inspired by the amazing work of Brandon Stanton, we will use photos, interviews, and reflections in the hope that these stories will bring us all closer to the everyday changemakers from around the world, sparking new ideas and building resilience in our communities.

And we’re thrilled to have Hanyun Xu on board to help bring your stories to life. Hanyun will be the weaver behind these posts,  amplifying the voices and journeys that often go untold. She’ll talk to individuals and communities connected to the Transition movement worldwide, collecting stories of resilience, creativity, and the everyday steps people take to build more regenerative, thriving lives.

Over the coming months, Hanyun will connect with inspiring folks from Transition communities worldwide, capturing the incredible projects, personal journeys, and sometimes the struggles behind their work and life.

We hope that each story will give you a glimpse into the heart of the Transition movement, through the eyes of the people who make change happen.
