Deborah Rim Moiso
Deborah is a trainer and facilitator in the Italian hub. She has co-written “Facilitiamoci!” a book and deck of cards on working with groups and writes articles about Transition and facilitation for various blogs. A native speaker of both Italian and English, she trained as a professional translator and sometimes combines the two worlds: she has translated Patrick Whitefield’s introduction to permaculture design “Permaculture in an Nutshell” into Italian and is one of the catalysts of the Transitionese project. Unsurprisingly, she has a deep love of Post-its and is endlessly amazed by the fact that, yes, open space technology always works. Deborah is based in Central Italy, where she stewards an olive grove, is a part of a local Transition group, and is learning beekeeping.
