Founder of CELL, the Centre for Ecological Learning Luxembourg
Dr. Katy Fox is a social anthropologist, teacher, community organiser and ecosocial designer passionate about social and cultural change. Her research has been focused on peasant and subsistence livelihoods and agriculture, the permaculture movement, deliberative paths for desired social change and the interconnections between ecosystems and social systems. In 2010, she moved back to her native Luxembourg (Beckerich) and founded CELL, the Centre for Ecological Learning Luxembourg, a non-profit organisation that serves as a laboratory for resilient living and that serves as the national Transition hub in Luxembourg. She is a knowledge broker and bridge builder and loves to design and deliver participatory trainings to youth and adults.
