Anna Kovasna

What do you do?

I am a board member with a particular interest in community building, participatory design and collaborative governance. I also work for a sister movement to TN, the Global Ecovillage Network, and enjoy finding ways to connect, learn and be mutually supportive.

What do you find most surprising or delightful about working in the field of Transition?

The love that people have for the planet, for each other, and for where they live – and how that love makes so many things possible if it is nurtured, given expression, and brought into collaboration with others. It’s a privilege to be immersed in that. I also really like the combination of inner and outer pathways to change, and the understanding that we are intimately part of the systems we live in and act through.
