Community energy project consultation
By Ed Mitchell 23rd May 2011
If you are part of, or know a community energy project, please point them to this consultation work being done by our friends at the Community Energy Practitioners Forum. They are building an online reference database of actual approaches to community energy, and need to know that they are collecting and representing the correct data.
You can proceed directly to the survey here
And here is the background information:
We are contacting you to invite you to be part of a consultation about community energy. The results will feed into resources designed to support community groups, community support workers and local agencies/ authorities who are involved in energy projects. If you do not work in this area it is unlikely that the questionnaire will be appropriate for you, however if you are able to pass it on to colleagues or other groups it would be much appreciated.
The Community Energy Practitioners Forum is developing an on-line reference database of tried-and-tested approaches to community energy. Our intention is that this becomes a valuable resource for community energy groups and the organisations that support them.
We need your help to ensure that the resource is as useful and user-friendly as possible, so I am inviting you to take part in a consultation exercise that will take less than 20 minutes of your time.
We want you to tell us what type of information about existing community energy approaches and case studies you would like to have at your fingertips, how you describe your community (or communities you work with) and what key resources and information you are looking for.
The consultation is being undertaken in the form of an online survey which you can find here. More information about the project is also available by following that link.
Thank you in advance for you input at this critical stage of the resource development.
