Job: Community Project Officer, local food

The post is working with the charity Community Council of Devon, on the “Home Grown Community Owned” (HogCO) project.
It’s a 5 yr project funded by the Lottery’s Local Food Fund, aiming to enable more communities to develop new – or expand existing – food growing projects. Everything from livestock, fruit & veg, forest gardens, composting, and more! Have a look at the Home Grown Community owned website for more details about the project.
The job is 4 days p/week job (29 hr) and is based in Exeter, with lots of travel around Devon meeting local groups, and tailoring our support to meet their needs. The job advert is attached to this news item, with the closing date for applications 5 July
