Living without money – a film
By Ed Mitchell 24th January 2011
We’re big fans of Mark Boyle, the ‘moneyless man’ (who runs some of the training events listed on this site and started the Just for the Love of it website), as his approach helps us all loosen up our views on money and security. And here’s another moneyless person who might interest you:
The film portraits Heidemarie Schwermer, a 68 year-old German woman who decided to quit using money 14 years ago. Heidemarie wanted to see if it was possible to live a life based on exchanging favors in lieu of money. What initiated as an experiment has now become a lifestyle for Heidemarie
You can watch the trailer on the Living Without Money Website and read more about Heidemarie’s story.
There will be screenings of Living Without Money held all over the world in April 2011 through their global “Screening for free “ campaign (see the website for more info and how to join in).
