Resilience Festival 2012 in Guelph
By Laura Whitehead 24th March 2012
Transition Guelph is holding it’s second annual Community Resilience Festival from 24th – 31st March. The festival, a collaboration of Transition Guelph and several partnering community groups is a week-long community gathering offering a wide range of events to explore progressive ideas around community planning, local re-skilling and empowerment.
Chris Mills, on behalf of the Resilience 2012 planning team – “ This year’s theme is energy. The final weekend events will feature greetings from the Mayor and our federal MP, keynote talks by Chris Martenson, and from Tina Clarke of Transition U.S., more workshops, and panel discussions. And, we’ll finish up in delicious style with our fourth annual Earth Hour pot-luck dinner and concert.”
