Reverend Billy’s Church of Stop Shopping coming to Europe and UK, July-2011
By Ben Brangwyn 10th March 2011
Reverend Billy and his advanced, some might say “quirky”, form of social engagement is visiting Europe in July 2011.
Here’s the missive from the Rev:
We are coming to Germany and England with the Church of Stop Shopping Gospel Choir during the summer of 2011. We come as emissaries from farmer’s markets and the local economy movement in the USA.
We’d be honored and educated by exposures to the transition town efforts in the UK and on the continent.
Our program includes commitments for appearances along the tour, in Dusseldorf, Liverpool, London… but also have open times in the July 13, 14 and 18-21 in the UK.
We have a rousing show – perhaps we can help with an event?
If you’d like to engage Rev Billy, please call him in the US on +1 646 299 3019 or +1 347 693 8857, or email him at revbilly@revbilly.com.
