Recruiting: Training Coordinator for the Transition Movement
By Guest Author 15th July 2021
Would you like to help re-energise training and learning across our amazing movement?
Transition Network and the Training Circle are inviting applications from individuals who are interested in supporting the development and sharing of high quality training and mentoring within the global Transition movement. In this time of increasing awareness and urgency regarding the climate emergency, we are looking to increase learning opportunities relevant to the current global context, and to develop a thriving Community of Practice for trainers and facilitators of Transition.
The international Transition movement is made up of thousands of people in hundreds of communities and at least 50 countries, each creating grassroots change in their own way. These communities and initiatives are looking for ways to increase the impact of what they are doing, and to reach new people interested in creating sustainable regenerative futures for their regions. Access to training and learning opportunities is an important way of achieving these aims, and of empowering more people to explore, create and share approaches that can meet the pressing challenges of our times. The Transition movement is fortunate to have hundreds of trainers and several Hubs, across many countries, who are already delivering transformative learning and training opportunities. These individuals and groups have indicated they need more coherence, peer support and networked communication.
Are you the right person to help energise and support this emerging global Community of Practice (CoP), in service to increasing the accessibility, relevance and impact of training for Transition?
